Anholt Race

June 13th - June 15th 2024

The Anholt Race is an offshore sailing event that starts and finishes in Elsinore.

With a distance of approximately 130 nautical miles, you will be challenged on distance and racing skills in a compact, raw format that is easy to fit into a busy schedule.

The start is on the same day as the Round Zealand (Sjælland Rundt) race, and even though your journey is shorter, we promise the same unique experiences and opportunities.

You have the option to race in the regatta or participate in the cruising event if you do not have a rating certificate.

In 2021, the Helsingør Sailing Club introduced the Anholt Race, held simultaneously with the Round Zealand race. The event offers Denmark's answer to offshore sailing, as the course heads out into the middle of the Kattegat to round Anholt before heading southeast again.
